Out with the old, and in with the new. Aruba announced on October 26th that they locked down a deal with the Pentagon to modernize its wireless, wired, and security infrastructure. Aruba will be replacing an outdated Cisco legacy wired switching network. The goal of the project is to streamline the entirety of its network administration, training, and support. As a result of the project’s completion, there will be 150,000 wired ports and 3,000 wireless access points across its 6.5 million square foot facility.
